“Five years ago, I was preparing for a high altitude 5-day backpacking trip,” said Karen Peck. “Knowing that I wanted to experience and enjoy the long days of backcountry meant being strong, lean, and fit. I wasn’t sure how to achieve this on my own. Thankfully, a friend recommended Fitness Together.

So, for the last six months, I have met with my trainer virtually and worked out at home. The decision to focus on my health and maintain my fitness routine strengthened me mentally and physically. COVID-19 will pass. I want to be healthy, happy, and ready for adventure when it does. Next spring – it’s trekking in Nepal to the Base Camp of Mt. Everest!

Karen recently turned 66 and has been blessed with good health. She enjoys a variety of outdoor sports, including shooting sporting clays, golf, and trekking.
