Early this July, SouthEast Bank finalized its partnership with 2011 Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne. In working with the bank, Bayne will participate in marketing campaigns, support promotional events, promote their suites of products and services, and uphold the bank’s commitment to serving the Middle and East Tennessee areas.

Trevor Bayne is a NASCAR driver, commentator, and entrepreneur. He has run more than 350 races across multiple NASCAR series and made history as the youngest-ever winner of the Daytona 500, a title Bayne holds today. Bayne is currently working as an analyst on the NASCAR Race Hub television show and NASCAR Raceday on FS1; he continues his racing career by competing in select Xfinity Series races for Joe Gibbs Racing.

As a Knoxville native, Bayne has always expressed a desire to give back to the community that supported his successes. He opened Knoxville’s Mahalo Coffee in 2019, a business that continues to be a staple in the community even after Bayne sold it in early 2023. His dedication to his professional and personal career and his love for his Tennessee community made Bayne a perfect fit for SouthEast Bank’s brand.

With 14 branches across Tennessee, SouthEast Bank values people-centric banking by supporting growing local businesses with personalized services, holding community events, and continuously donating to community-impacting organizations in Tennessee. In partnering with Bayne, SouthEast Bank hopes to create deeper ties to the area as both parties seek to enrich the surrounding communities together.

As a product of this collaboration, Bayne will join SouthEast Bank in hosting a food drive for Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee on September 9th from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm at their Farragut branch. While collecting donations, the event will also provide food, a bounce house, and music for all who come by. Bayne will be present to help collect donations, sign memorabilia, and meet the local community.

Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee primarily seeks canned meats, peanut butter, and protein-rich foods that have a longer shelf life. Donations will support the organization’s mission to end food insecurity for children, adults, and seniors in East Tennessee. SouthEast Bank encourages everyone to contribute to Second Harvest, whether staying for the festivities or simply dropping in.

Experience an afternoon of community celebration and support for Second Harvest’s mission with SouthEast Bank. Join us on September 9th as we come together with Trevor Bayne to drive out hunger in the local Knoxville community.
