Jordan Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Affordable dental solutions you can trust

“I feel so fortunate to be part of this team,” says office administrator, Vickie Hicks. “Our team of compassionate and caring health care professionals provides a level of patient care that you might have thought no longer existed in today’s ultra fast-paced world. We’re not putting on an act. We’re not performing. No one is that good an actor. We love our work, and we truly care about each of our patients. We’re friends at work, but we’re also friends outside of the office.”

“When I first began my career as an oral surgeon in 1972, I never imagined that my medical career would be as fulfilling as it has been,” says Dr. Robert Jordan, who prefers to be called Dr. Bob or just Bob. “I began my medical career in the United States Army, undergoing a dental internship and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training. I received my AAOMS board certification in 1982 and served as director of one of the six Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training programs.”

Dr. Bob retired from military service in 2000 as a Colonel, where upon he launched his civilian medical practice in Knoxville.

“I’ve loved every minute of my career,” says Dr. Bob. “I enjoy my patients, and I know they enjoy the special treatment they receive from each of our team members.”

The team at Dr. Jordan’s has an astonishing 98 years of combined oral surgery experience, providing an unparalleled level of patient service.

“What also sets us apart from other practitioners is Dr. Bob’s choice to personally contact each patient he sees daily to follow up on their individual progress,” says patient coordinator, Michelle Phillips. “This level of physician/patient interaction is rare today.”

At Jordan Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, their services encompass a wide range of treatments and procedures relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions, ranging from implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery, pathology, and facial reconstruction. They also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.

Many of Dr. Bob’s patients requiring oral surgery are referred to him by area dentists, although other patients contact him directly to obtain care.

In addition to the highest level of expertise and compassionate care delivered every day to every patient, patients are very appreciative of the affordable pricing for individual procedures, including the lowest cost individual dental implant in the area.
